Real Case Example

A client planned to launch a company-wide communication training but wasn’t sure what skills were actually lacking.
Through our Learning Needs Lab, we:

  • conducted targeted interviews with managers and employees,
  • analyzed existing survey data,
  • ran an appreciative inquiry session to identify peak performance moments, and
  • benchmarked results against their competency model.

The findings showed that 60 % of the perceived “communication issues” were rooted in unclear workflows and role overlaps — not in skill deficits.
As a result, only two microlearning modules were needed, and the rest became a leadership-clarity initiative.

Outcome: higher impact, lower cost, and measurable confidence in every learning decision.
